Fresh Flowers and Happy Homes

I think one of my favourite simple hobbies is going down the market on a Saturday and picking up a selection of beautiful blooms to display around our house. Giving our home more of a cosy, bright feel which brings a little smile to my face each time I walk into the room.
However quite frankly, I don’t always have the time to go into town and pick out my blooms. Sometimes life just gets in the way. However something I always get time to do is pop down to Sainsbury’s and pick up the weekly shop. You’ll be surprised at the variety of flowers the supermarkets have to offer without breaking the bank.
My recent purchase in December was this stunning Autumn bunch, brought together with White Roses and Purple Kale really did hit the spot for only £10 quid.

Or another great cost saving tip? Go and check out what’s in your garden! We have a beautiful David Austin Rose bush given to as an engagement present spilling all over our garden. A few sprigs of these in an old jam jar really does show off your green fingered, happy home.

My personal favourites are Sweet Pea’s and Peonies (very much a blogger cliché) but any bunch will always make me smile.
